Valmiera 250cm Oak Dining Table

Capturing the raw beauty of natural oak, the Valmiera 250cm Oak Dining Table is an exquisite, hand-crafted centrepiece for the dining room with an artisan flair, which is truly, one-of-a-kind. Hand-made from sustainably sourced oak, obtained from a small family owned business in rural Latvia, no table is exactly alike and comes with its own unique characteristics and history, making each dining table completely individual and packed with personality. 

The timber used in the hand-construction, sanded and polished, this table is naturally and carefully air dried for over a year, before the central sections of the tree are scrupulously sliced into 2 planks to create the large, 6cm thick table top with a live edge. The wood is then meticulously sanded by hand, before being carefully hand-polished with Macadamia oil over a period of 5 days, to bring out and highlight the natural varying grains, notches and textures of the wood; creating a table that has beauty all its own.

Due to the fact that elements of this beautiful product are made from natural, sustainably sourced wood, there will inevitably be variations in the wood grain, texture and even colour of each of these products.
