Damascus steel refers to the medieval swords characterised by distinctive swirling patters formed by the lamination of strips of hammer-welded steel, a once lost technique modern craftsmen have succeeded in recreating the characteristics of. The knife features a blade core made with premium exotic alloy 10Cr15CoMoV which typically contains 1% carbon for an extremely hard cutting edge.
