Furniture Delivery in the North West

If you live in the North West we will usually deliver your goods using our own Housing Units fleet delivery service and dedicated team.

Orders containing large or heavier items are charged based on your postcode.

We regret that we are unable to deliver furniture and larger items outside of our local area using our fleet service. If you live outside of this area you can find details of our National Delivery service here.

The Housing Units Delivery Service

We pride ourselves on the quality of the delivery service that we provide to our customers.

For deliveries of furniture and other large items in the North West of England we use our own fleet of vehicles and dedicated delivery team to transport your purchases to your home.

Pre-Delivery Checks

We have rigorous quality control checks in place to carefully inspect goods when they arrive at our warehouse.

On top of this, whenever it is practical to do so, our delivery team inspect all goods again before they load 
them onto their delivery vehicles to ensure that there is no obvious damage or fault with your purchase.

All goods are then covered and are carefully secured within the delivery vehicle to prevent any damage during transit to your home.

In Your Home

All of our staff undergo thorough training in the transportation and carrying of goods so that your purchases arrive in your home in excellent condition and we promise to leave your home in the same clean and tidy condition as it was when we arrived.

Our delivery team will locate and if necessary, assemble your furniture (some exclusions apply such as nursery and garden furniture) in your chosen room and ensure that you are fully happy with your products before they leave. For deliveries of Fireplaces, if your chosen fitter is selected from our recommended list, we will co-ordinate your delivery with them. Otherwise we will deliver your goods to the room you request so that you can make your own fitting arrangements.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your chosen goods are suitable for your room and that they fit in the room and can be carried into and through your home. Please see our buying guides for advice.


We will contact you when your goods are ready for delivery and we will arrange a convenient delivery date and time with you.

Please Note: Once your goods have arrived in stock, delivery arrangements must be made within 28 days. If delivery arrangements are not made and goods remain in our warehouse for more than 28 days then we reserve the right to charge storage fees.

Once a delivery slot is arranged, it can be amended up to 72 hours (3 working days) prior without charge. Within 72 hours of delivery, the full fee of £79 is charged to cover administration costs and the loss of a delivery slot. We do not accept changes or cancellations of delivery slots within 72 working hours. 

On the day before your delivery is due to take place, if we have your mobile number, we will send you a text to remind you of your delivery time. On the day of your delivery, our delivery team will give you a further call when they are on route to your home so that you will know exactly when to expect them at your door.

Please contact us as soon as possible if an urgent situation arises and you need to re-arrange your booked delivery date or time.

Please Note: After the delivery date is confirmed by text, email or telephone it is very important that someone is at the address to take delivery, if not there may be an additional delivery charge of up to £80.00.

After Sales Service

Most of our business is by word of mouth and we pride ourselves in offering an after sales service that is second to none. We want to make sure that all of our customers are happy and we have a specialist team to ensure your satisfaction.

Customer Service Consultant

In the event that you have a query with your purchase we will arrange for an experienced Customer Service Consultant to visit your home at a time to suit you. Backed up by a team of trained technicians, you can be confident that you will receive after-sales service like never before.

What if it has been longer than the estimated delivery time?

We try hard to ensure that all deliveries are made as quickly as possible. The delivery timescales we provide are given in good faith and are approximate but are often based on information provided to us by our suppliers. If we are given information suggesting that we will not meet the timescales we initially provided to you, we will contact you with an update as soon as possible.
