Acacia wood with an oiled surface
Oiled wooden surfaces must be maintained with a suitable furniture oil for outdoor use at least twice a year. We recommend that you apply oil to your new wooden outdoor furniture before taking it into use as the packing material may have dried out the oil treatment applied by the manufacturer.
Remember that timber is a natural material, so variations in colour and markings can occur from one piece to another, and the amount of oil absorbed will also vary.
Please note that hardwood can develop cracks along the grain after being exposed to different weather conditions. Such cracks are not considered defects.
Please note: Use of furniture cover is recommended when the furniture is not in use to protect it from the harsh outdoor environment such as the heat and light of the sun, as well as from rain, condensation, and dust, all of which contribute to reducing the lifespan of your new piece of furniture.
Remember to leave space for air ventilation under the cover. Your outdoor furniture must be stored in a dry, frost free place without heating during the wet autumn and winter season. Cushions and cushion covers should be stored in a dry place indoors.
