The Wickentree Restaurant

We are extremely proud of our Wickentree Restaurant, and we are highly rated by our customers for the quality of our food and service.  The proof of the pudding is literally in the eating!

Everything we offer is the best we can find, and we always look locally first.  We use real ingredients, sourced locally where possible, from producers we know and trust.

Our chefs seek out established and renowned bakers and butchers from our locality and beyond.  We enjoy working with established producers to ensure that we always deliver quality produce.

Many of our local producers have supplied us for years.  We are proud to have worked together with our local butcher to perfect the infamous ‘Wickentree Sausage’; our local baker for artisan bread and sourdough bread delivered fresh each day to make our sandwiches and breakfast rolls irresistible.

Our lunch and breakfast menus offer dishes to suit all diets and appetites, from light bites to indulgent comfort food.  We provide thoughtful vegetarian and vegan options. Please ask our colleagues for advice on allergens and dietary requirements.  We create amazing classic dishes with love and care with our bakers using traditional recipes to make the scones, cakes, pies, and tarts we have on display.

We cannot wait to welcome you back at Housing Units! With our dining destinations open, we can ensure the highest standards of care with social distancing and safety measures an absolute priority, whilst also ensuring your experience with us is relaxing, enjoyable and of course full of flavour!

Bookings

Bookings can be made for tables of 6 or more. For tables for less than 6 people, we operate a walk-in system only. If we do not have a table available, we have a pager system that allows you to shop or browse in-store at your leisure, and we will buzz you when seating is available. To request a table, head over to the Restaurant, and we will organise everything for you.

COVID-19 Update

We know things may feel a little different when visiting our Restaurant & Café, but we’ve made some small changes to keep you and our teams safe as well as following the latest government guidance. To support government tracing, we still advise that you provide your contact details.

Here’s what you can expect from your dining visit to us

Ordering & Payments

To reduce contact, we have introduced a QR code. Simply, hover your phone camera over the QR code, and it will take you to a digital version of our menu. So, sit back, relax and place your order. Don’t worry if you don’t have access to the app paper copies will still be available. For the moment, our restaurant and café are only operating card and voucher payments.
