A fully immersive 4D world with surround sound, fans, and an incredible range of motions, let your VR headset transport you into another world for a new adventure.

Our new Magical Sleigh Virtual Reality Ride will transport you to a festive world with an exciting ride on Santa's magical sleigh. Our sleigh seats up to 6 people and transports you into virtual reality with high-definition VR headsets. You'll experience a fully immersive 4D world, with surround sound, fans and an incredible range of motions making this a festive feast for the eyes and senses!

FAQs:

How do I book tickets?
1.    All tickets are booked in-store only by visiting our ticket sales point inside the main entrance of our Emporium Building.
2.    Scan the QR code on your mobile device.
3.    Select the number of guests on your booking - minimum 2 persons - maximum 6 persons – 3 in the front and 3 in the rear (children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult)
4.    Pick your time.
5.    Fill in your purchaser/lead booker information - we request a phone number & email address if we need to contact you about your booking & to send your reservation confirmation email.
6.    Checkout securely using a debit or credit card.  Please note it is not possible to pay for your VR ride with cash or at our tills. 
7.    Advance bookings for future dates are not available.
8.    Our friendly team will be on hand to assist you with purchasing your tickets.

How much is the ride?
The ride is £6 per person (adults & children)

How many people can ride at the same time?
•    The ride is suitable for a minimum of 2 guests and a maximum of 6 guests (adults or children).
•    Other guests will share your sleigh ride up to the maximum capacity of 6 people and we cannot give exclusive use unless purchasing the maximum capacity of six tickets on any time slot.
•    What is the minimum age for this experience?
•    This ride is suitable for guests over 2 years old. The VR headsets may be too large for young (2-5) children; however, they can still experience the ride by watching the TV instead.
•    For safety reasons children under the age of 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
•    Who is the ride not suitable for?

This ride is NOT RECOMMENDED for guests with:

o   Motion sickness or dizziness
o   Sufferers of vertigo
o   People with a history of seizures or epilepsy
o   Guests who are pregnant can use our VR Ride without any problem; however, we advise that you consult with a medical professional before taking part. If you go on the VR ride without seeking medical advice/assurance first, then you do so at your own risk.

Can I amend my booking?
We cannot guarantee any amends; however, if you have a query about your booking, please speak to one of our in-store team.

What if I miss my booking?
The booking is only valid for the date and time selected. If you miss your time slot, we will try to accommodate you later if availability allows. In times of busy periods, this may not be possible. This includes late arrivals. No refunds will be given for unattended sessions.

Where can I find the Virtual Reality ride experience?
In the Emporium Building here at Housing Units. Once you arrive, head to the main tills where signage will direct you to our VR check-in machine.

How long is the ride?
The ride experience will take approximately 5-10 min including a safety briefing & safety check. The ride run time is 3 minutes.

What time should I arrive for my ride?
There is no need to queue to enjoy your VR ride. Simply arrive at the VR Experience 2-3 minutes before your scheduled time. 

Can I take photographs?
For safety reasons photography is not permitted on the ride, including mobile phones. Selfie sticks, monopods or similar are not permitted on the ride.

Can I bring food or drink?
No food or drink is permitted on the ride.

Is the ride wheelchair accessible?
The ride is not wheelchair accessible. Guests must be able to access the ride seating with assistance from a member of their party. Our staff cannot assist you, except in an emergency.

What about Covid 19 safety?
All guests are required to be aware of the risk of Covid-19 before attending.
Please do not attend your session if you have:
o    Signs of a fever or high temperature
o    Persistent cough or respiratory problems
o    You have had contact with any possible source of the virus.
If you have Covid-19 or meet any of the above criteria, please remain at home and we will do our best to re-arrange your booking for a later date or time. If we are unable to re-arrange your booking and you, or any of your booking party are unable to attend due to COVID restrictions or COVID illness, then we will offer you a voucher for the value of your booking to be redeemed at a future date.

What cleaning procedures will be in place?
The VR headsets will be wiped with antibacterial/sterilising wipes in-between each use and points of contact will be regularly wiped down.
