Inspired by the lavish designs and decadent details that defined furniture design in the art deco period, the Opulence Chair has a certain timeless allure that is sure to transform any setting with its extravagant air and eye-catching features.
Hand-upholstered in an exquisite, platinum coloured, viscose velvet, with deep hand-tufted buttons, piping and accent back in a plush, GPJ Baker floral velvet for contrast, every element of this chair has been carefully constructed to make a grand statement from every angle. The shapely seat, back and armrests have been contoured to perfection and feature a serpentine and super loop sprung interior with a sumptuous foam overlay to deliver a sublimely comfortable seating experience like no other. Purposeful pleating on the defined curve of the scroll back and arms creates a lavish ruched effect, elevating the magnificence surrounding this piece, whilst the turned, solid ash wood legs, finished in a rich, dark brown shade, come complete with classic brass castors for a further luxurious touch.

The product that you are interested in could be made to order, be a bespoke item or is not currently in stock. Our lead times can vary depending on the item or items that you wish to purchase. The “ready to deliver” date is based on information we have received from our suppliers to estimate when we expect the goods to arrive to HU. This date is an approximation and whilst we do everything we can to make sure your order gets to you when promised, sometimes the unexpected can cause a delay. We will contact you with updates as any delays are known to us and in the meantime, you can always get a live update by contacting our Customer Care Team.
When will I receive my order?
Once your order arrives at HU, we will contact you to advise that your goods are ready to collect or to arrange a suitable delivery slot.

Your goods will be shipped when all the items on your order are available for despatch.

Our team always endeavour to get in stock items dispatched as quickly as possible working closely with our logistics division and partners. Smaller items will be dispatched via DPD and should be with you within 3-5 working days, larger items can take longer to deliver. Why are some delivery times later than others?
Here at Housing Units, much of our furniture is sourced from both Europe and the wider world. Our suppliers also depend upon components which often come from overseas. Combined with several ongoing global supply issues, we continue to experience disruptions and unexpected delays (like many other retailers) which are out of our control. As a result, some of our products are taking significantly longer than usual to come into stock at the moment.
