Caring For Your Teak Furniture

Due to the nature of the natural teak wood on the coffee table, some care will be required to be maintain the appearance and longevity of the wood. When new, the teak wood has a warm, honey-coloured appearance. One exposed to the warm air, heat and the sun at full strength in the warmer months, the colour will start to fade and gain a silver-grey patina. To preserve the golden colour, the manufacturer recommends using a teak care protector kit on the table top at least once a year, for the best results. Please note, applying teak oil is only a short-term solution and using a specialist teak care protector will achieve the best results.
