MILES OF SMILES FROM 78,000 VARIATION FURNITURE RANGE.

If leading home furnishings store Housing Units stocked every item from its newest range it would need to extend its premises to cover the equivalent of 15 football pitches – or stretch from the store to Blackpool.

It is called Oasis, and the new modular range has the potential to create 78,030 different variations of sofas and corner units – and if Housing Units stocked every one it would mean a floor space of more than 700,000 square feet – without space to walk between them.

“This is a truly awesome range – if every single item was lined up end to end it would stretch for 45 miles: if that isn’t a range to suit anybody and everybody then I have no idea what would be,” said Nick Fox of Housing Units.

“There’s 17 different styles of modular adjoining chair, sofa or corner unit, and 270 fabric and colour variations of each, and they all slot together to create an almost endless potential for variation.”

The Oasis range featured is priced at £2249, and most buyers are expected to use in a variety of locations and different formats according to the needs of the people in the room at the time.

“There is a tremendous colour and pattern range, but the common factor is that they all create a tremendous colour and mood lift in a room. It’s rare that you come across furniture that makes you smile,” said Nick Fox.
